There’s lots going on during half term in Norfolk with plenty of Halloween activities to enjoy. Young or old, I’m sure you’ll find something to suit.
Blickling Hall our local National Trust property has plenty to choose from. How about History comes to life – meet the builders of Blickling to 1930s maids. Hear the gossip and find out what life was like in their time, on Wednesday 29th October. Cooking in the kitchen is on Thursday, 30 October or Sunday, 02 November where you will find ‘Kath’ and ‘Cook’ recreating the recipes of the 1930’s in the kitchen. Finally Bricks and Bats – a walk around the estate exploring the lost buildings of the Blickling Estate on Wednesday 29th October. Find more details on the Blickling Hall website
Bewilderwood has The Glorious Glowing Lantern Parade, a puppet parade through the wood every day at dusk and in the trees! From Thursday 23rd October – Sunday 2nd November along with staying warm by the fires and daily performances of the BeWILDerbats story.
The Cromer and Sheringham Arts Festival runs in both towns with some displays starting from 15th October, but the main event runningfrom 24th October to 2nd November. This year it has a War and Peace theme and has everything from art workshops, lightbox displays, films, music, even a beachcombing walk. Visit the Coast Festival site for lots more details
