Whilst a list of places to visit and local eating places is very useful, there’s nothing quite so descriptive as a map. Whereabouts is that recommended pub and how long might it take to get there? What happens if your dog is taken ill; where is the nearest vets? Well hopefully all these questions will be answered by looking at the maps I’ve created. [Read more…]
If you follow us on social media you will have already seen the competition running, but I wanted to give you all a final call to enter as the competition closes tomorrow!
The prize is two pairs of tickets for the All About Dog Show, organised by Dog Lovers for Dog Lovers, which is on at the Norfolk Showground on Sunday 28th and Monday 29th August. That means you have two chances to win and with only a handful of entries so far you are in with a very good chance of winning!
Entry is simple, via the pinned post on our facebook page. Just like the post and comment; the comment can be dog related in any way, so perhaps a word that describes your dog, a quote, or a photo of your dog on holiday.

Well none of us like to see unused shops no matter where we live in the country, but we do like to see these shops brought back to life. Cue Happy Paws Dog Grooming has arrived in the village of Bacton. Yay! It takes over the old newsagent and mini market, but fear not, there was already a much bigger and better one in the village aka Bacton Superstores, so the village is still well catered for food, drink, your daily newspaper and more.
If you’re thinking of a few days away, then why not get away to the coast and have the sea breezes blow some cobwebs away? Enjoy the beaches all to yourself, walk for miles and find a dog friendly pub or cafe at the end to warm up with a hot chocolate or perhaps a glass of wine, whatever your tipple, there’s something to suit!
I’ve been on a learning curve this week. I’ve wanted to make a video from some of the lovely photos I have of the properties. Something that gives a real flavour of the property. I started with Beachscape and used Stupeflix to make the video. Well although the result was ok, the screen resolution I felt was very poor on the free version. I looked for something better and found that I already had video making software on my computer. Sometimes you just overlook the obvious!
