Christmas is nearly upon us and so the properties have embraced the festive feeling. All three are now decorated for Christmas with a little tree in Beachscape and Tides and a snowflake on the door. Rainbows End Park and the beach were just glorious last week, the shops are looking festive and Cromer has its unusual tree as well as it’s traditional tree. This year it’s a 3D Advent Calendar. Enjoy the festive season whatever you do and wherever you are. 🙂
For some time, I had pondered over all the hard earned knowledge, marketing skills and administrative systems that I had accumulated as a holiday home owner and wondered how to use it all to help others. Thus the seed for Norfolk Coastal Holidays was born, to market not only my own properties but other owners properties too. Well what better than helping the owners manage their holiday homes and allow them to get on with their work and family life? It’s amazing how much time it takes up, so it’s a positive pleasure to be able to assist the owners of the gorgeous Bramble Cottage in Happisburgh in taking bookings.
Well that is certainly something to shout about! After months and months of work, my new website, which also incorporates this blog, finally went live in September 2014. Now my blog posts can be seen and read by you instead of talking to myself as I have been so far!
I actually started this new site back in 2011, but didn’t get very far. I just couldn’t get my head around what seemed to be the complexities of wordpress. Yet everyone was out there creating blogs and websites by the thousands! Why couldn’t I?
Recently, I decided to purchase a mascot for our properties. He’s a King Charles Spaniel and he’s going to have some lovely adventures in Norfolk as well as here in the office. He may even go out with some of our guests and he’s got his own diary too! [Read more…]
Born and raised in Herts, a leafy commuter belt county with a dad that worked in the big city, London. Holidays were always self catering in the UK; we ventured some years to places such as the Lake District, Scotland, Wales and overseas to……the Isle of Wight! Most years though, we went to Norfolk, and more specifically Bacton, in Norfolk. The first members of my family to visit were my grandparents, so we are now on generation number four and have clocked up well over 70 years of visits! [Read more…]
